Megan was drawn to childbirth long before she had children of her own. Fascinated by all things birth, she continued to learn through her own experience with her firstborn and went on to become a Certified Birth Doula through DONA International in 2017 and a Certified Lactation Counselor in 2021. She also completed a training in Spinning Babies in 2020. The extraordinary power and transformation of birth (and beyond) never ceases to amaze Megan. Although she is not currently practicing as a birth doula, Megan strives to support women and their families during the postpartum period.
Megan lives near Bozeman with her three children, Jacob, Ruth, and Helen. Megan moved to Bozeman in 2007 from San Antonio, TX, where she served a 4-year enlistment in the Air Force. She then worked for in the clinical laboratory at Bozeman Health Deaconness for 11 years as a lab assistant until Ruth’s birth in 2018 and has since been privileged to enjoy 5 ½ years of being a full-time stay-at-home mom. Having finished a surrogacy journey in early 2023 and now freed up with her children being in school, Megan is ready to dive back into the birth world!
When Megan is not with her children or helping clients, she enjoys reading, gardening, raising chickens, and all things summer.
